Job Summary:

The primary purpose of the Project Management Officer PMO shall be to coordinate a centralised management structure for the implementation of a portfolio of projects at IMIL, aiming at ensuring standardisation is achieved, ensuing resources are efficiently utilised and effective communication of projects.

The PMO is responsible for the coordination of the entire portfolio of engineering projects, tracking project progress, organising status reports and monitoring issues and risks

Skills Required:

Engineering Degree and PM Qualification

At least 3 to 5 years Project Management Officer Experience within the Pharmaceutical Industry, preferably on an FDA approved site.

Proven team worker and leadership skills, with strong communication and organisational skills

Main Duties:

Ensure compliance is achieved with the management of capital expenditure (CAPEX) projects against corporate governance policies.

Provide support and ensure project managers adhere to the methodologies to conduct projects.

Consolidate and maintain an up-to date list on the portfolio of projects.

Manage the budget and forecasts for the portfolio of projects and monitoring project spend according to approved budgets and forecasts.

Coordination on the reporting of project performance metrics and financial reporting on a regular basis to management.
Monitor projects according to approved timelines and assist in the planning of the project to meet key milestones.

Ensure the necessary stakeholders have been involved in the portfolio of projects.

Provide training in the use of project management methodologies and tools including Project Management Software ‘Project Vision’.

Administration of the Project Portfolio Management Software ‘Project Vision’.

Responsible for the upgrade and development works of Project Vision

Assist project managers in the management of projects to ensure compliance with local, corporate and regulatory standards.

Assistance with the development of project initiation forms and capital requests for projects.

Coordination of activities/meetings to ensure correct approvals of all projects and maintain paperwork

Facilitating projects closures with project managers

Manage the change control activities for the portfolio of projects.
Monitor the resources and manage a yearly resource plan
