Overview:

This job specification outlines the general responsibilities associated with the role of Sr. Associate Production Planner. This person is responsible for translating the master production schedule into a detailed schedule, ensuring on time availability of product, whilst taking known constraints and planning parameters into account.

Other Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for portfolio of commercial products, understanding all constraints and dependencies that impact planning activities.
• Participate in the monthly planning cycle for all products and complete the necessary activities, some of which include:
- Reviewing and understanding product demand.
- Ensuring the master production schedule and resultant production plan is reflected on SAP and Rapid Response (RR).
- Balancing product supply in RR system given known constraints, confirming system orders comply with target safety stock and target material availability dates.
- Responsible for short term capacity planning.
• Review planning parameters and targets and recommend improvements to Sr. Management for approval.
• Manage and monitor SAP / RR transactions to support production plan, planning cycle and procurement activities.
• Inventory management of assigned products.
• Work closely with NPI (New Product Introduction) team to ensure seamless transition of products to commercial planning and production.
• Monitor and track KPIs.
• Extract, retrieve and compile data relevant for periodic reporting needs
• Provide data analysis for dashboards for given products.
• Identify areas for continuous improvement of planning processes.
• Change/NC/CAPA owner.
• Subject Matter Expert for assigned tasks.
• Optional:
- SAP Super User
• Responsibilities include training, SAP continuous improvement and Global Forum participation.

Candidate's need:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain or equivalent
• 3 years supply chain planning experience
• SAP ECC Planning Experience
• Ability to analyse complex data and to communicate findings and make recommendations
• Advanced experience and capability with Excel, Word, and MS Project

Systems:

• SAP, Rapid Response, EDMQ, CCMS, QMTS

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s Degree or APICS certification
• Min 5 years experience in an industrial environment
• Working knowledge of regulatory and pharmaceutical processes
• Ability to conduct effective root cause analysis
• Team player, self-starter, independent worker who take on ownership in driving tasks/projects to completion
•Readily adapts to and manages change
