The Project Planner will assist with the development and maintenance of a major Capital Investment Programme (CIP) for a Scheduling and Projects Controls perspective. The CIP includes a diverse portfolio of commercial building and infrastructure projects.

Key Responsilbilites:

Develop individual project gant charts from first principles using Primavera P6 in accordance with AMD's standard Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) while identifying all related project tasks, activities and milestones.

Co-ordinate with Project Managers and other Project Stakeholders to identify realistic durations for all tasks and activities across the full lifecycle of projects including: Feasibility; Design; Statutory planning; Procurement; Construction and Operational readiness.

Develop the appropriate leads, lags, contingency allowances and dependencies such that the critical path is identified for each individual project.

Combine each individual project schedule into one Master Programme Schedule in Primavera P6 to provide an overview of the CIP from a scheduling perspective.

Knowledge and Skills:

A Degree/National Deiploma in a construction or engineering discipline.
Min 3 - 5 years experience of working in a comparable project environment; within a client, consultant or contractor organisation.
Proficient in the use of the planning tools Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project is essential.
Excellent ability to utilise MS Office components, specifically Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
