•At least 10 years + experience in senior facilities lead or management role.

The Facilities Manager is responsible for the cost effective delivery of FM services in-line with contract requirements including providing oversight, leadership and guidance to the key team and management of supply chain vendors.
Acting with a high degree of autonomy and minimal supervision, they will be responsible for the management and service delivery of the full range of FM services, both operationally and from a building/critical services perspective to the client determining procedures and methods for achieving objectives.

Skills Required:

Having qualification in a facilities/technical based discipline and experience of sub-contractor supervision.
Knowledge of current technical standards in relation to Fire Alarm Systems, Generators, Electrical Services, HV & AC and Water Systems Treatment.
Formulating, Assessing and Validating Risk Assessments and Method Statements.
Educated to a minimum of City & Guilds or equivalent in an electrical/mechanical discipline in Building Services Engineering.
Distinctively skilled in outsourced service solutions to international clients preferable in the corporate sector.
Experienced in the identification and realization of business growth opportunities.
Experience of managing staff and the provision of services to a corporate client
Experience of managing M&E services.
Experience of managing projects.
Experience of managing budgets and sub-contractors.
IOSH / NEBOSH Managing Safely.
Advanced computer skills, particularly with the MS Office package.
Operational Responsibility for client site.
Management of staff on site.

Main Duties:

Responsible for the quality, safety, cost and delivery of all in scope services.
Provide consistently efficient service to the client for the Facilities and Support Services.
Escalation point of contact for all issues and incidents.
Provide general administrative support and support the Alliance Director in the reporting and financial processes.
Ensure the Health and Safety requirements and guidelines are observed including risk assessments for both visitors and staff.
Responsibility for customer satisfaction for all the services both soft and technical.
Responsibility for Vendor management of local supply partners.
The Facilities Manager works closely with the clients and local supply partners in case performance, contractual and vendor management.
Responsible for cost efficient delivery of services against the defined budget and the identification and implementation of cost saving initiatives.
Responsible for overseeing and delivering KPIs, budgets and deadlines
Focusing local teams on meeting agreed KPIs, budgets and deadlines.
Ensure all resources are effectively optimized, costs minimized and profit maximized for any activity under control.
Ensure client sites have fully competent and motivated FM teams.
Ensure CBRE effectively manages critical assets and compiles FMR.
Ensure all contract activities comply with all company, legal and client requirements for Health and Safety, Quality Management, environmental policies and general duty of care.
Ensure a Health and Safety system is in place and that it is audited for compliance.
Investigate, plan and make recommendations to the Alliance Director to implement best practice and forward-thinking strategy.
Deputizing and providing support for the Alliance Director if required.
Manage engineering supply partners in all the activities related to M&E services provided.
Ensuring the statutory compliance and other standards as directed by the client’s representatives in relation to the maintenance and repair of the sites M&E Plant, Equipment and Services.
Organise and, if necessary, assist in reactive repairs to the sites M&E systems (BMS, Fire, A/C, Generators and LV Electrical Distribution and Switch Gear).
Providing a conclusive monthly report, clearly reflecting the activities on site for that calendar month as directed by the Client and the Alliance Director.
Carry out audits as directed by the client’s representative and in accordance with CBRE Processes and Procedures.
Development and review of site policies and procedures relating to the maintenance of installed plant and equipment
Liaise with site and client management during any emergency operations or procedures.
Assist client with resolution of technical matters arising from installed equipment or maintenance of this equipment.
Responsible for all aspects of the critical and non-critical building systems for the portfolio for example;

o System testing,
o Change control,
o Load management,
o Switching of HV/LV equipment,
o Managing permits to work
o Contingency planning and disaster recovery
