Life Safety Systems (LSS) Lead

Based West Dublin

12 – 24 month contract

Average 45 hours a week

Skills Required:

•Previous LSS Construction Manager Experience for the Semiconductor, Pharmaceutical or Life Science industries on Base build projects required.
•Experience in Security networks, Fire alarm system, Leak detection, Gas detection systems upgrades and Electrical upgrade support

Main Duties:

•The LSS lead’s roles and responsibilities will run across the project lifecycle from initiation to close out as part of General Contractor (GC) multi discipline team responsible for the delivery of the entire project.
•LSS scope will include but not be limited to existing LSS system upgrades, Security networks, Fire alarm system, Leak detection, Gas detection systems upgrades and Electrical upgrade support against a number of contractual milestones throughout the project.
•Experience in project execution using a level 2 BIM 3D model.
•LSS Lead will need to be able to determining the optimal workflow to allow the LSS trades to use a collaborative approach via a level 2 federated model in order to achieve a right first time installation.
•Assisting in planning and sequencing and coordination of all LSS trade contractors within geographical areas of the project with the project scheduling manager and team.
•Monitor & Controlled the LSS project schedule against need date per discipline to the contractual level 1 and 2 milestones;
•Weekly progress against schedule (PAS) meeting with the contractors and issuing PAS reports to the client.
•Compiled other variance reports against a number of indicators from BIM output through to commissioning for all trades associated per milestone.
•Tracked and updated milestone activity via the project Document control system including the project Commissioning tracking software
•Monitor and control of costs (Integrated change control) for the project with the GC Commercial team.
•Validated and administered all change order requests from trade contractors with coordination with the GC Commercial team.
•Responsible for communicating organization and client quality and safety bulletins to the trade contractors.
•Responsible for all LSS QA/QC and Commissioning
•Collaborated with all discipline system workgroups weekly in order to allow a coordinated execution in the field of all LSS scope
•Executed the LSS technical workgroup meetings with client and trade contractor.
•Assist in managing Project Procurement of all long lead items with the GC Procurement team.
•Responsible for commissioning and hand over of all LSS systems including reviewing redline drawings and O&M documents
